  TORONTO, ON, December 18, 2014 - Two New Brunswick based teams, the Saint John Sea Dogs and the Moncton Wildcats, are in the Week 13 edition of the BMO CHL Top Ten, the Canadian Hockey League announced Wednesday.
 
MOOSEHEADS AGAIN EDGE TITAN IN OVERTIME
  HALIFAX, NS, December 17, 2014 - The big guns Nik Ehlers, Timo Meier and Zach Fucale, may have been missing on the ice, but the Halifax Mooseheads still found a way to win Wednesday night at Scotiabank Centre. The Herd scored their third straight victory with a 3-2 overtime defeat of the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

  SUMMERSIDE, PEI, December 17, 2014 - The Dieppe Commandos improved to 19-5-0-1, moved into a second place tie with Pictou County Weeks Crushers and ever closer to first place Woodstock Slammers in the 12-team Maritime Junior Hockey League standings defeating the surging Summerside Western Capitals 5-2 Wednesday night in Summerside.

  SYDNEY, NS, December 17, 2014 - The Cape Breton Tradesmen downed their rivals, the Cape Breton West Islanders 5-2 in NS Major Midget hockey Wednesday night. Meanwhile the Cole Harbour Wolfpack edged their HRM rival Halifax McDonalds 3-2.
 
SEA DOGS TRADE RIGHTS TO PROSPECT
  SAINT JOHN, NB, December 16, 2014 - The Saint John Sea Dogs has traded the Canadian Hockey League playing rights to 16 year-old defenceman Louis-Philippe Fortin to the Shawinigan Cataractes of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

  BRIDGEWATER, NS, December 15, 2014 - Shane Robar is joining the South Shore Jr A Lumberjacks effective immediately as assistant coach to Head Coach Travis Young. The addition to the team's current coaching staff is part of the rejuvenation of the franchise that has come with new ownership. The Lumberjacks made the announcement on Monday.

  PICTOU COUNTY, NS, December 14, 2014 - Of the four games in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League this weekend, the home team only won once as the Pictou County Scotians downed the Cumberland Blues 6-1. The Strait Pirates went to Antigonish and doubled up on the Bulldogs to win 6-3. The Scotian were in Glace Bay Saturday to win 3-2 over the Miner.....

  HALIFAX, NS, December 14, 2014 - For the second day in a row all three teams in the Greater Halifax area won NS Major Midget Hockey games with the Halifax McDonalds dropping the Valley Wildcats 9-2; the Dartmouth Newbridge Academy Gladiators edging the Pictou County Weeks 2-1 and the Cole Harbour Wolfpack shutting out the Cape Breton West Islanders 3-0.

  CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI, December 14, 2014 - The Charlottetown Islanders lost both their games this weekend scoring three goals in each game. The problem was on Sunday the Fredericton Canadiens scored 7 to make it a 7-3 win and on Saturday the Kensington Wild scored 11 to make it 11-3.
 
ALL THREE HRM TEAMS WIN IN MAJOR MIDGET
  COLE HARBOUR, NS, December 13, 2014 - The three teams from HRM all won their games Saturday evening in the N.S. Major Midget Hockey League. Cole Harbour skated to a 4-1 win over the Cape Breton West Islanders. The Dartmouth Newbridge Academy Gladiators won 4-2 over the South Shore Mustangs and the Halifax McDonalds downed the Pictou County Weeks 5-2.

  MONCTON, NB, December 13, 2014 - Thirteen turned out to be a lucky number for the Fredericton Canadiens as they outscored the Moncton Mark’s Flyers 4-1 to put an end to the Flyers 18 game win streak Saturday night and celebrated the win at the end of the game.

  MONCTON, NB, December 12, 2014 - The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus men's hockey team will have a new puck-moving defenceman in the team's lineup for the second semester. Head Coach Serge Bourgeois announced Friday that Victor Beaulac, of St-Hyacinthe, Québec will be joining the Atlantic University Sport team in January.

  CAMPBELLTON, NB, December 12, 2014 - The 18-8-1-0 Pictou County Weeks Crushers scored three unanswered goals in the second period to double the 9-13-1-0 Campbellton Tigers 4-2 Friday night in Maritime Junior Hockey League inter-division play at the Campbellton Memorial Civic Centre.
 
LUMBERJACKS UPSET SLAMMERS, END STREAK
  WOODSTOCK, NB, December 12, 2014 - The 8-15-3-0 South Shore Lumberjacks recorded the team's biggest win of the season defeating the Maritime Junior Hockey League leading Woodstock Slammers 4-3 in a shootout Friday night at the Carleton Civic Centre in Woodstock. It was the first loss at home for the Slammers, who are now 22-4-0-1 on the season.
 
ACES FORCE COMMANDOS TO LENGTHY SHOOTOUT
  ST. STEPHEN, NB, December 12, 2014 - The 17-5-0-1 Dieppe Commandos left St. Stephen with two points Friday night but they needed to start through the lineup a seond time in the shootout to edge the 1-25-0-2 St. Stephen County Aces 4-3 in Maritime Junior Hockey League Roger Meek Division action at the Garcelon Centre.

  BERWICK, NS, December 12, 2014 - The Summerside Western Capitals continued their resurgence downing the Valley Jr A Wildcats 7-3 Friday night in Maritime Junior Hockey League inter-division play at the Kings Mutual Centre in Berwick.
 
TIBBO GIVES WILDCATS THIRD WIN IN A ROW
  SYDNEY, NS, December 12, 2014 - The Moncton Wildcats first two lines were silent on Friday night but the team's depth shown through as they led the team to it's third straight win. Newfoundlander Kyle Tibbo’s fourth goal of the year late in the third period proved to be the winner as the Moncton Wildcats edged the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 3-2 at Center 200.

  WINDSOR, NS, December 12, 2014 - An overtime, a shootout, a shut out and a doubling of score marked four games in the Nova Scotia Junior B Hockey League Friday night.   NOVA SCOTIA, December 7, 2014 - It was a busy weekend in the Nova Scotia Junior B Hockey League with a total of eight games over the three days. The Cole Harbour Wolfpack downed the Charlottetown Islanders 7-4 and in Pictou, the Pictou County Weeks shut out the Kensington Wild 6-0.
 
FLYERS & RIVERMEN BRING HOME WINS FROM N.S.
  HALIFAX, NS, December 7, 2014 - The Moncton Flyers and Miramichi Rivermen won their games Sunday in Nova Scotia to finish off the home and home interlocking series with the NS Major Midget Hockey League. It took a shootout between the Rivermen and the Halifax McDonalds a 4-3 victory for Miramichi. The Flyers scored a pair in the third to defeat the South Shore Mustangs 4-2.
 
CAPE BRETON TEAMS REGISTER WIN AND LOSS
  CAPE BRETON, NS, December 7, 2014 - Sunday Cape Breton teams lost one and won a game to New Brunswick major midget teams in the final games of the NS vs NB-PEI Major Midget crossovers. The Islanders lost 2-1 to Fredericton Canadiens but it took a shootout to determine the winner. In the other the Cape Breton Tradesmen topped the Saint John Vitos 6-2 CORRECTED
 
FLYERS & RIVERMEN WIN IN NOVA SCOTIA
  HALIFAX, NS, December 6, 2014 - Two of the six New Bunswick teams visiting Nova Scotia won their first of two games there in the second half of the home and home series between the NS Major Midgets and NB-PEI Major Midgets. Miramichi Rivermen topped the South Shore Mustangs 5-3 while the Moncton Flyers scored an 8-4 win over the Halifax McDonalds.

  COLE HARBOUR, NS, December 6, 2014 - In the Nova Scotia half of the home and home against NB-PEI Major Midget hockey teams both Island teams fell short with the Cole Harbour Wolfpack edging the Kensington Wild 3-2 in a shootout and the Pictou County Weeks scoring a 6-2 win over the Charlottetown Islanders.

  CAPE BRETON, NS, December 6, 2014 - Both Cape Breton teams topped a pair of teams from New Brunswick in the NS portion of the home and home games between the two leagues. The C.B.   COCAGNE, NB, December 5, 2014 - In New Brunswick Junior Hockey League action on Friday night, the undefeated Moncton Vito's held off the Kent Koyotes long enough to preserve a 4-3 victory, taking back first place overall in the league while the Hotel Shediac Predators downed the Tri-County River Cats 11-1 in Fredericton Junction.
 
WILDCATS TRADE CAPTAIN TO CATARACTES
  MONCTON, NB, December 5, 2014 – For the second season in a row, the Moncton Wildcats has traded the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team's captain mid-season. Captain Chris Lalonde, expected to return from injury Saturday night, has been traded to the Shawinigan Cataractes for second and third round picks in the 2016 QMJHL Entry Draft.
