NOVA SCOTIA PLAYER HONOURED IN ALBERTA

John Mullally of Timberlea, NS who plays with the
Whitecourt Wolverines has been named the Alberta Junior Hockey League Player of the Week. Mullally scored 6 points in three games, including his second hat trick of the season, during the week of October 20th – 26th, 2014. He was awarded as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game on October 25th when he tallied three goals including the game winner in a 4-2 win over Camrose.
Mullally has scored a league leading four game winning goals, and is amongst the Top 10 in the AJHL Scoring Race with 11 goals, 7 assists and 18 points in 19 games. His current 5 game point streak began on October 15th and has totalled 8 points. The 19 year-old forward is in his first AJHL season with the Wolverines.
