GAMES POSTPONED
Due to the impending storm, the Halifax Mooseheads pre-season game originally scheduled for this Saturday, September the 4th vs the PEI Rocket has been rescheduled to Sunday, September the 5th starting at 4:30pm at the Halifax Forum. The opening game of the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League season between South Shore Canadian Tire Mustangs and Pictou County Weeks Saturday at the John Brother MacDonald Stadium in New Glasgow has also been postponed. Sunday’s game is still scheduled. Saturday's game has been rescheduled to Monday at 3:30pm.
Although no official word has been received there are reports Saturday's Dartmouth at Cape Breton game has also been reschedule to Monday.

  MONCTON, NB, September 3, 2010 – Former Moncton Junior Vito’s assistant coach Greg Nickerson will take over head coaching duties with the junior B club immediately, General Manager, Louis Gaudet announced Friday afternoon .
 
TITANS EDGE MUSTANGS IN FINAL SEASON WARMUP
  UPPER TANTALLON, NS, September 2, 2010 - The Halifax Titans outscored the South Shore Canadian Tire Mustangs 8-6 in the final pre season tune up for both teams Thursday night at the St. Margarets Centre. The Mustangs held a 5-3 lead with 16 minutes remaining but Halifax stormed back with five goals in the final 16 minutes to take the contest.
 
WEEKS CRUSHERS STOP JUNIOR BEARCATS
  NEW GLASGOW, NS, September 2, 2010 - The Pictou County Weeks Crushers downed the Truro Bearcats 3-1 Thursday night in Maritime Junior Hockey League pre-season exhibition play at the John Brother MacDonald Stadium in New Glasgow.
 
REVENGE IS SWEET FOR COMMANDOS
  DIEPPE, NB, September 2, 2010 - Dieppe Commandos went to Summerside Tuesday with an all-rookie squad and were beaten 9-4 by a Summerside Western Capitals with a handfull of top returnees in the lineup. Thursday in the rematch in Dieppe a Commandos squad of rookies and veterans got a little revenge with a 7-1 victory over the Caps.
 
WILDCATS CLAWED MAINEIACS FOR WIN
  MONCTON, NB - September 2, 2010 - The Moncton Wildcats clawed the Lewiston Maineiacs, scoring early and often on their way to a 7-3 victory in the first of two games against the team from Maine in a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League pre season tilt. 
 
ROCKET DELIVERS LATE PRE-SEASON MESSAGE
  CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI , September 2, 2010 - There may be a lot of talk around about the Saint John Sea Dogs repeating as Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Atlantic Division champion but the PEI Rocket isn’t listening. In fact the team from the Prince Edward Island capital delivered a message of it’s own Thursday night defeating the Sea Dogs 5-1 at the Civic Centre.
