FOG DEVILS WIN BRONZE MEDALS AT TELUS CUP
LEVIS, QC, April 25, 2010 - For the second time in seven years members of the St. John’s Fog Devils are bringing bronze medals back home from the National Midget Championship. The Atlantic Major Midget Champions scored four second period goals Sunday morning and hung on to edge the Quebec champion Gaulois du College Antoiine-Girouard 5-4 at the Leis Arena.   UPDATED WITH PICTURE
 
HOUNDS EDGE FOG DEVILS IN SEMIFINAL
LÉVIS, QC, April 24, 2010 – Daniel Dale delivered the goal for the Notre Dame Hounds when it counted most. Dale scored with 7:16 to play in the third period to lift the Hounds to a 5-3 win over the St. John’s Fog Devils in the first semifinal game on Saturday night at the TELUS Cup National Midget Championship being played at the Lévis Arena.

LÉVIS, QC, April 23, 2010 – The playoff matchups are set at the 2010 TELUS Cup National Midget Championship, with the Gaulois du Collège Antoine-Girouard, Mississauga Reps, Notre Dame Hounds, and St. John’s Fog Devils advancing to semifinal action on Saturday.
 
FOG DEVILS EARN BERTH IN TELUS CUP SEMIFINALS
LÉVIS, QC, April 23, 2010 – The St. John’s Fog Devils have punched their ticket to the playoff round at the 2010 TELUS Cup, National Midget Championship being played in Levis, Quebec. The Fog Devils earned the fourth and final spot in Saturday’s semifinals knocking off the Red Deer Optimist Rebels 7-2 on Friday afternoon at the Lévis Arena.
 
HOT GOALTENDER HALTS FOG DEVILS STREAK
LÉVIS, QC, April 22, 2010 – The St. John's Fog Devils hopes of going through round robin play at 2010 TELUS Cup National Midget Championship were put to bed by a hot goaltender Thursday. The Fog Devils had gone into the second last day of round robin play with a 1-0-2 record with the two ties coming in games with the other two leaders.

FOG DEVILS SETTLE FOR 3-3 TIE IN OPENER
LÉVIS, QC, April 19, 2010 – Zach O’Brien fell just short of averaging four points a game as a member of the St. John’s Fog Devils during the regular season.With 91 points in 23 games, O’Brien came one measly point shy of the four-point-a-game mark. He came that close to his season average in the Fog Devils opening game at the TELUS Cup Monday.
 
MELINDY LEADS HOUNDS TO OPENING GAME WIN
LEVIS, QC, April 19, 2010 - The defending champion Notre Dame Hounds started the 2010 TELUS Cup the same way they finished the 2009 TELUS Cup, winning. James Melindy from St. John’s, NL, a Moncton Wildcats prospect, led the Hounds to the victory, 5-3 over Red Deer Rebels, with the game winning goal and an assist on another.
 
2010 TELUS CUP OPENS MONDAY IN LEVIS, QC
LEVIS, QC, April 17, 2010 – Canada’s top midget hockey players are heading to Lévis, Que., for the 2010 TELUS Cup, National Midget Championship, which kicks off on Monday, April 19. The host Commandeurs de Lévis will be joined by five other teams in the hunt for the National Midget Championship.

LEVIS, QC, April 5, 2010 - When the Atlantic Champion St. John’s Fog Devils travel here in a couple of weeks for the Telus Cup National Midget they will face four other Atlantic Canadians including two Newfoundlanders, who play for the champion of another region.

The Flyers scored a 5-3 win over the Central Region champion Hamilton Reps on Thursday afternoon for their first victory at this year’s National Midget Championship

SELKIRK, MB, April 21, 2009 – The Winnipeg Thrashers, hosts for the 2009 TELUS Cup and finalists at last year's national midget championship, were too much for the Atlantic champion Moncton Flyers Tuesday night.

SELKIRK, MB, April 20, 2009 - A shorthanded goal with 1:09 remaining in regulation turned out to be the difference as the Atlantic champion Moncton Flyers were edged 5-4 by the Laval-Bourassa Rousseau Sports Monday afternoon in the opening game at the 2009 Telus Cup National Midget Championship being played at the Selkirk Recreation Centre.
 
MONCTON FLYERS ONE OF SIX STILL ON THE ROAD

SELKIRK, MB, April 19, 2009 - The Road to the TELUS Cup has just six teams remaining on it and the Atlantic Major Midget AAA Champion Moncton Mark's Work Wearhouse Flyers is one of those teams. The Flyers and Rousseau Sports de Laval-Bourassa from Quebec will open play Monday 1:00pm ADT.
